Ok, some nice shops but a little bit like a Celtic version of Royston Vasey.

Great place for a family break. Good variety of places close by to visit

Parking available but a bit limited - can be difficult to find a space during summer days.

Great sand in lovely fishing Town. Awesome fish and chips but local youth sort of hang out on the sea wall in bunches.

Eyemouth is costal resort near the border. A quietish town with a sandy beach, quiet cove, boat trips and to my delight, seals. There is also a hill that once had a fort on it, but very little now, so a trip to the museum would serve you better.

A decent bit of beach fronting the town, but fairly small, being bounded between a headland and the harbour but handy if you like the convenience of shops and café close by.
